Christy & Cory with their Dog {Engaged}
Spending the afternoon with Christy and Cory on the waterfront of Kirkland, WA was a ton fun. We had lots of time to get the creative juices flowing and loved working with the sun and blue skies to my advantage (which isn’t so common in Western Washington!). Gorgeous day + Gorgeous couple = Gorgeous Pics.
I am very excited to photograph their January 2011 wedding in Bellevue at the First Presbyterian Church followed by their reception at the Ballroom at the Westin!
Here are some of our favorite images from their engagement session!
Double Trouble Fun : Brothers on the move
Happy Summer from adorable brothers, Haaland & Max! I joined them in their backyard for a fun portrait session in Edmonds, WA. I was running around for a few hours with them and got to enjoy a day with their mom, Lily… my good friend!
Here are my favorite shots from our session! Thanks so much to the Christiansen Family for having me shoot your boys every year.
Playful in the Park & Beach {FAMILY in Edmonds}
I got to shoot yet another amazing, loving family. Adorable sisters, Caitlyn & Emily, were so well-behaved and they both loved the camera. We had a blast playing at the City Park in Edmonds and down at Brackett’s Landing Beach on the Puget Sound. My absolutely fav images are all the interactive ones: girls discovering the beach telescope, looking out at the sunset, & walking in park.
Thanks Mark Family for a GREAT photo session. Hope you enjoy these!
2 Giggly Boys & their Sweet Parents | Everett, WA
Greetings from the San Juan Islands! I am up here to relax from my many, many fun photoshoots this past week in Seattle. I have my editing cut out for me and will be bloggin’ about them all!
Here goes…. I met Bo, Ty and their sweet parents Justine & Mark at their home in Everett, WA. We went to the very picturesque Everett Arboretum Park for our family session and was surprisingly & pleasantly overwhelmed with the pretty, colorful plants and flowers. Brothers, Bo & Ty, were SO good the entire time. Bo loved checkin’ out the flowers and playin’ in the fountain water. They giggled and interacted so well with their loving parents!

Headshots w/ Stacy {SK Wedding Event & Design}
Yesterday, the talented & sweet wedding planner, Stacy Kvam with SK Wedding Event & Design, and I strolled the streets of downtown Seattle. The goal was to capture fresh, clean, modern, fun headshots, and I think we nailed it!
Here are some of our favorites from our fun session.
Baby Alexander is 3 months old!
It felt like it was just yesterday when I photographed the birth of Alexander (click HERE to view it)! What an experience that was.
I am extremely delighted to showcase adorable Alexander at 3 months old. I am in love with his green, plaid outfit! Rachel– great job on your selection! Alexander’s big sis, Claire, had many cameos in our photoshoot, so I just had to post them as well. She’s such a ham– I can’t get over how stinkin’ cute she is.
Thanks, Shih family, to another amazing photo shoot. I can’t wait for our 6 month session in our “Year in Life of a Baby” series.
United Tire Alignment {commercial photoshoot}
Last May, the friendliest & most professional car shop hired me for a photoshoot! (yep, I don’t just photograph weddings, engagements and babies. I enjoy a good mix of photoshoots!)
United Tire Alignment is the best because of the amazing ownership and professionalism of Nova and his family. I live in West LA area and I drive 40 minutes to N. Hollywood get my oil changed from Nova every 3 months. I do this because I trust him 100% and that’s huge in the car industry! I recently got new tires from them and thanks to Nova, my Honda Element glides now! I highly recommend them.. check their fabulous review on YELP.
Here are my favorite shots from our session. Soon they will be up on their website!
Kristina + Billy | Engaged
Last week I had a few fun engagement sessions in Seattle. Thankfully, I had EXCELLENT weather the entire time.
The first e-sess was of Kristina & Billy. We met at Cupcake Royale in Ballard, WA for the first time ever and discussed a bit about their July 2011, Whidbey Island wedding over some delicious mint/ chocolate and carrot-cake cupcakes. YUM!
We strolled the streets of Old Ballard and got some great shots for their Save-the-Dates (it will be a photo-booth style magnet). During the Movie Theatre kiss shot (3 below), a friendly metro bus stopped to give me space for the shot. Never in Los Angeles would this happen. Thank you Mr. Seattle Bus Driver– YOU ROCK!
Here are a few of my favorite shots from their session! Congrats again to Kristina & Billy. I can’t wait to capture their wedding next summer!
