FUN Snow Inner-Tubing,”Trash the Dress” Photo Session at Suncadia Resort
Newly-Weds, Deonna & Travis, happily went snow inner-tubing at Suncadia Resort in Washington State the day following their wedding day .. and yes, Deonna wore her wedding gown. I can’t imagine a better way to get more use out of it! We had perfect weather and mostly, we had a TON of fun! What a dream shoot this was for me.

Max turns 3 months one day shy of his parents 1st anniversary
Giggles :: Hanukkah :: Christmas :: Parents 1st year anniversary :: Max had a fun filled photoshoot. Since this is his 2nd shoot with me, I’d say he’s getting used to me. hehe… This shoot with the Blunt Family is the 2nd session out of the “Year in the Baby’s Life” series I offer. His parents, Rebecca and Zack, celebrated their year anniversary over this shoot weekend of December 19, 2009. I photographed their wedding December 20, 2008. Ok, this time for you to do the math. Max is 3 months old. Max is super adorable and I feel so lucky to get the opportunity to photograph him as he gets older and older! I am now about to blog about the mini-shoot we did while Max was napping. You will soon see the images of JUST Rebecca & Zack. Happy Anniversary you too! Here are some of my favorites from Max’s session:

Classic, Elegant & Simple | An Autumn, Seattle Wedding Celebration | Anne + Brian
My first time meeting Brian, the groom, was minutes before he saw his stunning bride, Anne. He was calm, collective & cool; anticipating their first glance in front of the Alexis Hotel downtown Seattle. I set-up the first glance alongside the hotel making sure it was clear of people. I absolutely LOVE this moment. It’s a time when brides & grooms can have an intimate moment seeing each other for the very first time on their wedding day. They can exchange sweet, loving words and even have time to shed a few tears of joy during this once in a lifetime moment. And, during this, there aren’t 200 set of eyes of them, just me from afar with a long lens capturing every second. Anne and Brian’s expressions were transparent of the love they have for each other, not just during their first glance, but also throughout the entire day. The rest of day unfolded beautifully, full of smiles & sunshine. It was brisk fall day, October 10, 2009. The autumn colors were beaming of reds, oranges and yellows which perfectly tied into the wedding day color scheme. We took the ‘formal’ shots of the wedding party near the Seattle iconic Kerry Park and met the family at the most beautiful Catholic Church called Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in the University District followed by their lovely ceremony. The reception was held at The Canal in Ballard! So much fun. A special thanks to Melissa Parker with Amazing Events and my amazing photography assistant, Amber Brickman. Congrats Anne and Brian!! I had such awonderful time capturing your wedding.

Sweet Family in the Park
Yesterday I photographed the sweet Goldstein Family at Douglas Park in Santa Monica. It was a gorgeous Sunday and the Goldsteins looked awesome. We fed some ducks, made silly faces, climbed some trees and tried to make a cute, little baby giggle. At the end of our photo session, Aiden, 4 years old, helped me take apart my camera and he said, “Hey, your camera breaks.” This definitely gave me a good laugh. Oh, the things 4 years olds say– gotta love it! Thanks for a very fun shoot, Goldstein Family. Looking forward to photoshoot #3 with you!
