I think the title says it all! Kenda is GLOWING. After our nature shots, we went to her lovely home and shot some studio-like, window lit photos. I can not wait to meet baby boy, Kellan!
Congrats to Kenda and Gabe!
It’s been awhile since I have posted a blog entry. This doesn’t mean that I haven’t been shooting lately. In fact, it’s quite opposite. I am shooting so much that I haven’t had time to keep up with my blog. I hope to catch up soon!
I am very excited to showcase these photos of Brooke and her hubby, Eric. I photographed their gorgeous wedding in Malibu Feb 2010. You can see those photos here: http://www.nicolegoddard.com/brooke_eric
For these beautiful belly photos, we started in my home studio and then headed down to Venice Beach. This coming week, I’ll get to meet 8 day old, Quinny for her newborn photos. We are doing a “Year in a Life of a Baby” Series, so I get to see her grow and capture her cuteness throughout the year. Let the joy begin!
A few weeks ago, I traveled down to San Diego for a few photoshoots. One of them was Borany’s maternity shoot! We went to my new favorite portrait shoot location: Balboa Park near downtown San Diego. This park is a photographer’s heaven– full of amazing architecture, lush green lawns, flourishing landscapes, and reflective ponds. Really, it doesn’t get much more picturesque!
This photo session is the beginning of the series I offer called, “A Year in a Baby’s Life.” Throughout the year, I will be capturing their baby at 10 days, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year old. It is sooo cool to see baby’s stages during their first year and to capture it with photography is even cooler!
Borany is about to deliver her baby boy any day now (in fact, I just left her a voice message, so who knows, she maybe in labor now?!?) I am thrilled for her and Doug (and of course, their dogs too) as they enter into a new and exciting chapter of their family life.
Here are a few of my favorite shots from our session. I look forward to posting the newborn baby shots in the next few weeks!
It was a gorgeous day in Encino, CA for the Shih family photo session. It’s hard to believe that in the winter month of December, we had vibrant, colorful leaves & bright, warm sunshine as our background. Little Claire is simply adorable and has such a cute personality. Her Mom (who happens to be my first cousin), Rachel, is pregnant with her 2nd child. So, I made sure to capture her baby bump.
Here’s a mix of my favorite shots from our session… starting with Eddie fixing up Claire’s pigtails and finishing with Claire doing her daddy’s hair.
