Welcome to the World: Alexander Edison Shih

Posted by on Mar 29, 2010 in .Little ones., Lifestyle | 4 Comments

On March 20, 2010 at around 5:45pm, Alexander Edison entered our world! My 1st cousin, Rachel gave birth to him at the  St. Joseph of Orange Hospital and I was fortunate to witness this miricle of life. Of course I couldn’t resist bringing my camera! It’s my way of telling Alex (he may go by Xander, btw) that he better get used to my camera! He came out wailing with the cutest cry ever. He was a little guy– only 20″ and 6lbs and 1oz.

Congratulations to my cousins Rachel & Eddie and their 2 year old daughter, Claire, for their newest addition to their family! I am so excited to capture him at 11 days old in just a few days.

Rachel was very happy that her epidural was working! It was almost time to push and she didn't feel a thing.

Eddie wasn't feeling great. Rachel who was in labor seemed to be doing better!
