Reading Dr. Suess books to toddlers is so much fun, right!?!! Well, I think so. I especially like taking photos of their reactions when their parent read to them. Below are a bunch of photos doing just this. This shoot is my 4th session with the Bakers. The first two shoots were their engagement shoot and wedding back in 2005. Since Laurel & Brian have started a beautiful family, they have asked me to capture them in a fun, lifestyle kind of way. I absolutely love it when past clients come back to me– such a big compliment!

Jennifer & Jon | Malibu Engagement Session
I am so happy with how these photos turned out from Jennifer & Jon’s engagement session at the historical Adamson House. It was a stunning day on Tuesday, December 29, 2009– the light was perfect, our background felt like we were at Villa in Italy (truly), and Jennifer and Jon were so much fun to photograph. This coming August, I’ll be photographing their wedding in Pasedena, CA at The Athenaeum.

Family Portraits | Shih Family
It was a gorgeous day in Encino, CA for the Shih family photo session. It’s hard to believe that in the winter month of December, we had vibrant, colorful leaves & bright, warm sunshine as our background. Little Claire is simply adorable and has such a cute personality. Her Mom (who happens to be my first cousin), Rachel, is pregnant with her 2nd child. So, I made sure to capture her baby bump.
