A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of hanging out with the sweet Brown family. 7 months ago I had photographed baby Alexandra and since then (and, years & years ago I photographed her parents wedding in Washington State), she and her parents relocated to Colorado Springs. For her 1 year old birthday party, they made a special trip out to Irvine, CA to celebrate with their family. During their visit, I am honored they thought of me to capture Alexandra at this fun age at the park. Alexandra is almost walking and she has developed such a fun & happy personality.
Here are my favorite images from our session at the park. Enjoy!
On May 3, 2010, Grayson was born! 5 days later I was in his nursery photographing him. He’s so cute and his parents couldn’t be more proud. I’ll be seeing him again for his 3 months, 6 months and 1 year photoshoots this coming year. Can’t wait to see him grow!
Here’s my favorite images from the session. Congrats again to Borany & Douglas!
On April 9, 2010, Ashley & Clay were happily married at the Coronado Community Center with all their closest friends and family. It was a beautiful event and day!
Ashley and her bridesmaids got ready at the picturesque Loews Hotel a few miles away from the wedding venue. They all looked STUNNING! After the sweet ceremony by well-spoken reverend, Holly Skinner, the wedding party and I hopped in the stretch limo and headed for the north-side of Coronado Island for San Diego cityscape photos and then to the sandy beach in front of Hotel Del Coronado.
The reception was absolutely lovely. Paul Bott with Paul Bott Gracious Entertainment was Ashley & Clay’s extraordinaire wedding planner. He did it ALL– from designing the pretty bouquets, arranging the table tops, setting the ceremony decor, to cooking ALL the yummy food (lobster and steak!) and making sure everything was flowing just as it should. I am always amazed by his talents and professionalism! The band, Tijuana Dogs, were also very talented and I would recommend them in a heartbeat– such fun music and not one bit cheesy. Phew!
And, a special thanks to my awesome photographer assistant, Kara Snider! Kara- you rock my wedding world. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Congrats to Ashley & Clay. Thank you for allowing me to capture your wedding- I had a fabulous time doing so! I wish you two love and happiness forever.
I have followed and captured Sullivan with my photography since she was 9 days old. We just wrapped up the sweet collection, “1st Year in a Baby’s Life” and how sweet it was. I have a very good feeling this won’t be the last time I photograph Sullivan.
We met in Santa Monica at Douglas Park and caught the only hour & half window of no rain that day. Yep– it rained before and poured after the shoot. We got lucky! Or maybe because Sullivan’s mom, Meghan, and I are both from the Seattle area and we steer away from rain the best we possibly can and the “sun gods” sensed this?! Who knows. All I can is, “phew!”
And, how about her giraffe dress?! Doesn’t get much cuter then this, especially when she plays with bubbles!
Here are my favorite shots from this session.
A few weeks ago, on March 20, Alexander was born and I had the honor of witnessing his entrance to our world. It was amazing. I blogged about it a bit ago.
11 days later was his first ‘official’ shoot with me. He’s already a natural! So adorable. So little. So amazing. I am looking forward to watching him grow-up!
Congrats again to Rachel, Eddie and big sis, Claire. Here a few of my favorite images:
