Crazy- Cool eHarmony Story {Laguna Wedding Celebration}
If it weren’t for the dating website, eHarmony, I would have never met Rob. Rob would have never met Juliana. And, Juliana would have never called me last November to photograph her 2010 August wedding. That’s right… I was a member on Eharmony and met Rob. We became friends, stayed in touch on Facebook and a few months later he was engaged to the lovely, Juliana! This may be the most unique story on how a couple found me. We are planning on submitting our story and these wedding photos to Eharmony soon. So, please stay tuned.
Rob & Juliana’s wedding was straight out of a love-story book. Their closest friends and family surrounded them as they said their confident “I-DOs.” They celebrated & danced with the 16 piece band called BIG BAND THEORY (Rob’s band) while overlooking the beaches and coastline of picturesque Laguna Beach at the venue, Laguna Village. I had a great time capturing every moment! Click HERE to see their music web-show I created for them and click HERE to check out their Manhattan Beach engagement session.
Congrats to you both. I wish you an abundance of lifelong happiness & love! (Check out the great vendor listed below.)

A motorcycle + 2 guitars + beer = FUN engagement session
The title to this blog entry (almost) says it all. A motorcycle + 2 guitars + beer = FUN engagement session!
Kelly, Andrew and I had such a fantastic day! We started the day by hitting up West Seattle (Alki Beach) for the view of Seattle skyline. We used Andrew’s bad-ass motorcycle as a prop and it was perfect. Then we went back to their adorable 1920’s yellow home for an outfit change. I saw soo many photoshoot opps in their house, so I fully took advantage.
Both Kelly & Andrew are talented musicians- they sang a few songs, jammed on their guitars (loved Kelly’s pink guitar). My favorite was their duet of 4 Non Blondes, “What’s Going On.” I cheerfully (and terribly out of key) sang along while capturing them in action. After our jam session, we ventured down to Pike Place Market to continue our photo session in Post Alley, then ended up at the Pike Place Brewery for fish & chips and cold, tasty beer.
What I am most excited about, is next August 2011. I will be photographing their wedding in ITALY in Lake Como (where they fell in love!) at the charming Hotel Villa Cipressi. This will be my 2nd Italy wedding to date and I’m ecstatic!
Congrats Andrew & Kelly for planning your destination, dream-come-true wedding.
Lucy!!! {darling 1 year old}
During my past Seattle trip, I met cute Lucy for the first time! Just a year prior I was walking with her Mom, Lauren, downtown Edmonds on her due date. So much can change in a year.
Despite being a little under the weather, Lucy was mostly ear to ear smiles. Such great spirits!!! I met them at Lucy’s Grandma’s house and spent a few hours in her background garden. I love that Lucy’s shirt matched the blue/green Hydrangea flowers. And then her next outfit matched the red chair! So great. (and thanks to her grandma, Sally, for the delicious homemade oatmeal cookies. YUM!)
Here are my favorite photos from this fun photoshoot!
Charlotte say's "Go SEAHAWKS!" {Family in the Garden}
3 blog posts in 2 days– I’m on a roll!
Meet the sweet Hoglands. I went to High School with Dennis & Gwen and it had been years since I have seen them. They continue to look as good as they did way back when. I was so excited to meet their 2 year old, Charlotte. She’s full of character and loved picking Grandmas’s blueberries in her backyard flourishing garden! Dennis had Charlotte put on her Seahawks jersey on and it was too cute. I had a fantastic time capturing them…. and excited for baby #2 to arrive! Congrats Hoglands for growing your family!

Brynn + Russell {Seattle Golf Club}
July 31, 2010, Brynn & Russel got married! Their wedding was held at the Seattle Golf Club and everything went as smoothly as possible. It was a day full of fabulous people & cheerful celebrations. The ceremony was extremely thoughtful and memorable. I had an amazing time capturing every moment and I gotta say, it was very difficult choosing which images to blog – everyone, especially Brynn, looked so GOOD! Make sure to scroll all the way down to check out the insanely pretty, vibrant sunset.

Sweet Sienna | 2 weeks old
A few weeks ago, I met baby Sienna for the first time. She’s absolutely adorable. Her parents, Bryce & Brooke, couldn’t be more excited parents. The love they have for her is so endearing. I had a fantastic time being around this family love and capturing very sweet moments.
Here are some of my most favorite images from our session. Congrats to Brooke & Bryce with their sweet Sienna!
Jenn & Ben | Venice Beach Canals {Engaged}
Meet Jenn & Ben. I first met them in February in San Francisco and we instantly had a great bond. I felt like we’ve been friends for years!
I will be joining them in one month (actually 32 days, who’s counting?) in ITALY (yes, ITALY!) to photograph their dreamy, Florence Hills, castle-venue, wedding (click HERE to see the castle venue, dated 1000 AD). So, I thought it was suiting to capture their engagement session in the Venice Canals of Venice, CA. We had the canals to ourselves and the light & weather was just right! We had such a fun time throughout the shoot.
I couldn’t be more stoked to leave Los Angeles for Italy… and, yes, I will be extending my trip and will be there for a full 2 weeks, spending 1/2 of it in the gorgeous Italian Riviera of Cinque Terre.
Here are my favorite images from Jen & Benn’s engagement session. Ciao!!!!!!!
David + Joann | {Wedding Celebration}
Over the last year, I have had the true pleasure to get to know David & Joann. They met at Berkeley University, became study friends and spent many hours at cafes. Soon after, their friendship naturally unfolded into an amazing love for each other. On July 10, 2010, they happily declared their i-do’s at First Christian Church in Torrance, CA followed by a huge & fun celebration at the Norris Center for the Performing Arts in Rolling Hills Estates, CA. I had a fantastic time capturing all the moments!
Congrats, David & Joann. I wish you all the happiness and love the world has to offer. You two are amazing people and I feel so blessed to have you in my life!
